Mart House gallery
shows contemporary art in all media, represents and promotes
young upcoming artists from the Netherlands and around the world.
Particularly for those exploring the boundaries of media, representation
and interpretation in contemporary art making, conceived as a
platform for emerging artists, Mart House gallery presents from
this space, as well as at selected art fairs, events and alternative
venues, in a specifically curatorial emphasis.
Besides solo-shows
we are producing group shows where we promote video, painting,
object based works, photography, installation, mixed media and
performance. Mart House gallery aims to cultivate a space, where
emerging talents, particularly those who probe the creative and
material boundaries of art, are introduced to collectors and
public.
Mart House gallery opened in 2006 in Amsterdam’s
gallery district ‘Jordaan’. The space exists of a
downstairs, a first floor, a back house, and a light court with
a 10-meter high wall.
